At RMBlack, we’re a collection of people that are proud to maintain a strong culture.

At RMBlack, we promote an environment of humility. We recognise that working in investment markets inherently involves working with uncertainty. This requires a good understanding of statistics and probabilities, along with a willingness to be flexible in our approach.

Decisions are made with varying degrees of confidence rather than with a definitive arrogance. We continue to seek out more information and continue to learn. We recognise that a collaborative approach can have great benefits and encourage new and different ideas to be seen as opportunities rather than challenges. We really value our work together as a team.

We’re also a group of people rather than computers. We engage in great banter across an open office environment. Collectively, we have a great sense of humour… well, we laugh at our own jokes like they’re all hilarious. This environment is very important to allow us to thrive and get the most out of ourselves.
